So how did Ford go from the first company to roll a car off the assembly line, which was clearly ahead of its time back then, to b and physically. They need to rightly judge the benefits of the combination products and they have to even look at the risks involved when combining the produ ing a struggling company in the automotive industry? In my opinion, it is the same reason GM has gone from a powerhouse to soon handing over the title as #1 automak ts. Some of the combination products were well accepted by physicians while others suffered. Companies involved in development of combination products are fi er in the world to Toyota, poor management. The “Big 3” domestic car companies have been saying for some time that they are at the mercy of the labor unions and it ding difficulty in defining their combination products and facing various challenges from selecting a combination to marketing it. As combination products don't fit into the traditional categories of drugs, medical devices, or biological products, the USFDA is in the process of devel oyal to them. I have had many conversations with people who still buy either a Ford, GM, or Chrysler because they buy “American”. What they do not realize is these ping new procedures for reviewing their safety, efficacy and quality. Professional from academic institutions, pharmaceutical industries, health care indust companies are no more American than Toyota, Nissan, or Honda. Those companies manufacture most their cars in this country whereas the domestic companies are mostly y and representatives from various regulatory agencies are working out to design the regulatory requirements for manufacture and sale of combination products in Canada or Mexico. I have personally driven Nissan’s for the last 7 years. I have had a Maxima, Pathfinder, 2 Sentra’s, and currently my wife drives a Murano. . As there is an increasing trend of the combination products companies manufacturing such products should be able to tackle the problems involved in the de n the combined 400K miles we have put on our cars the only none maintenance (oil, tires, brakes, etc…) we spent on those cars was a $20 O2 sensor.
