Influence of IT in Textile Business
Textile Supply Chain has been highly influenced by four important features of Information Technology; these features are: Information integration, Planning synchronisation, Workflow coordination and new business models. It is also come across that these IT applications facilitate the execution of several theories of supply chain management, like constant refilling, vendor administered refilling, planned postponement etc.

Medical Device Contract Manufacturing
Contract manufactured medical devices are widely used in a variety of markets such as critical care, emergency room, home health care and industrial laboratories. The critical care section includes medical devices for respiratory therapy and operating rooms. The emergency room includes the medical devices for the cardiac lab, labor and delivery. Medical devices used in home health care such as a doctor?s office and medical laboratories can also be manufactured on contract basis. Contract manufactured medical products usually include simple tubing sets, very complicated bio-sensors, and even ultra-precision devices made from plastics, metals, electronics and ceramics.

RFID: The New Technology
RFID is an all-encompassing expression for technologies that employ radio waves to recognize people or objects automatically. After storing a serial number or other identification data on the chip connected to an antenna, user can use a reader to receive radio waves from the chip and convert the signal into digital information, which can be passed over to computers and be used of.

Tender Touch Of Apparels
So far it can be said that comfort of apparels has not been objectively expressed, although it can be recognised through experiences of a person. Comfort is purely a subjective criterion. However, it can be quantified in an objective manner in terms of the properties of non-sensorial comfort characteristics. Satisfactory thermal equilibrium and efficient moisture management are the two most important comfort criteria in the apparel of twenty first century. Both the sensorial and non-sensorial fabric comfort depends on various factors including the type of the material, method of construction of textile substrate, feeling of the wearer, impacts due to climatic condition of the environment and its variation. Comfort can also be imparted depending on the end use of the apparel by appropriate finishing treatments to the fabric. As the evaluation of comfort depends on the handling of fabrics which is a frictional phenomenon, lot of research and studies are currently carrying out on the surface properties of fibers, yarns and fabrics.

Pcm In Textiles
Since a huge amount has been invested in research and development in these areas in the developed counties, it is expected that very soon all-season outfits will be mass-produced. For example, in Britain, scientists have designed an acrylic fibre by integrating microcapsules covering Phase Change Materials. These fibres have been used for producing lightweight all-season blankets.
Many garment making companies in USA are now producing many of such garments, like thermal underwear and socks for inner layer, knit shirt or coated fleece for insulating layer; and a jacket with PCM interlines for outer layer, beside helmets, other head gears and gloves. Such clothing can maintain warm and comfortable temperatures in the extreme of both weathers. There is no doubt that textile which integrate PCMs will find their way into several uses in the near future.

Dyestuff Industry In India And China
Textile dyes have been used since the Bronze Age. They also constitute a prototype 21st-century specialty chemicals market. Three large manufacturers namely DyStar, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Clariant are leaders in the dyes market. The biggest, DyStar, was established in a series of mergers of some of Europe's leading textile dye businesses in the 1990s. Worldwide excess capacity and price burden, fueled by the immediate growth of Asian manufacturers, have shifted most dyestuff chemistries into commodities. Regulatory barriers have nearly stopped the progress of the opening of fundamentally new dyestuffs. Despite this DyStar, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Clariant have grown over the past 10 years with innovative products and new chemistry is being set to endure reactive and dispersant dyes as well as in older dyestuffs such as sulfur dyes.
